Empowering Communities Through Digital Workshops
Over the past year, we’ve delivered 140+ workshops across Wales, introducing cutting-edge digital skills to thousands of participants of all ages. With projects still ongoing in Blaenau Gwent, our reach continues to expand, ensuring hands-on access to digital fabrication, repair skills, and creative design.
Real-World Learning for All Ages
From Llandrinio to Margam, we’ve worked with participants aged 4 to 94, including a 94-year-old who successfully learned CAD design. Our SPF-funded workshops cover:
- Laser Cutting & 3D Printing – Prototyping and bringing ideas to life.
- 3D Scanning & Repair Cafés – Reducing waste and reviving everyday items.
- Quilting & Textiles with Laser Cutting – Blending tradition with technology.
- CAD Design Training – Teaching Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, and Fusion 360.
Encouraging Future Engineers
In partnership with Bridgend Council, we’re running five two-day Velocity Track Challenge workshops for 16-year-olds, introducing them to engineering, digital fabrication, and real-world design challenges.
Expanding Our Impact
Thanks to SPF funding, DTLSN, FabLab, and Cardiff Met, we continue to empower communities with digital skills—fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
